Project Payments & Stage Payment Structure

Unless otherwise stated in the individual quotation, larger renovation, construction and refurbishment projects are normally invoiced using the following staged payment structure:

  • 30% – Initial Deposit
    Payable upon acceptance of the quotation and required to secure the project booking, allocate labour and commence procurement and project preparation.

  • 30% – Second Stage Payment
    Payable during the course of the works once the project has progressed into the main construction and installation stage, in accordance with the agreed programme and the payment schedule stated in the quotation.

  • 30% – Third Stage Payment
    Payable as the project progresses into the later installation, finishing and completion stages.

  • 10% – Final Payment
    Payable upon practical completion of the agreed scope of works, subject to any outstanding items specifically recorded and agreed between the parties.

Stage payments represent payments against the overall contract value as the project progresses and should not be interpreted as payment only for individual isolated items of work unless this is expressly stated in the quotation.

Invoices issued in accordance with the agreed payment schedule become payable on the due date stated on the invoice.

The timing of individual stage payments may be adjusted where required by the nature, duration, sequencing or complexity of the project. Any project-specific payment arrangements set out in the accepted quotation shall take precedence over the general payment structure shown above.

Additional works, variations, unforeseen works or items requested after acceptance of the original quotation may be invoiced separately and may be subject to different payment terms.

Where a stage payment becomes overdue, THE FLUSH ROYALE LIMITED reserves the right to pause or reschedule the works until the outstanding balance has been cleared. Any resulting delay may affect the original project programme or completion date.
